Pheromones
are specific chemicals used for communication between individuals of the same
species. Most pheromones comprise of
blends of two or more chemicals which need to be emitted at properly
proportions to be biologically active.
Pheromones
are chemicals that send out subconscious scent signals to the opposite sex that
naturally activate attraction and
readiness for sex. Pheromones are
water-soluble chemicals that elicit neuroendocrine while they also provide
information about gender. Pheromones have long been known to be crucial to the
lives of insects in mating, for example, in some of the larger silkworm family
moths, where males are noted to travel nearly 30 miles to a female, following a
pheromone trail in the air. Human pheromones are steroid molecules, found in
the skin, that float off into the air and affect those near us.
Pheromone
perfumes that are sold in the market contain androstenone (male pheromones) and
copulines (female pheromones).Pheromone should always be applied first and then
the spray. Pheromones are substances secreted by one individual which cause a
specific response in other members of the same species.
Females do
have underarm hair, and they can emit pheromones. The most important female
pheromones also called copulins, which are present in vaginal secretions,
influence male perception of females and may induce hormonal changes in males.
According to scientists, females, regardless of their species can send out a
message via the female pheromones to let the males know that they are ready for
reproduction.
